Promoting PEACE!!

Sri Sri Ravi Shankarji says:

“Religion is like the banana peel and Spirituality is like the banana. We are holding on to the peel and have thrown the Banana.”

Spirituality – the basis of all religions – is what can provide the solution to the problems facing mankind today. What is needed today is a better appreciation of this unifying outlook which comes out of a thorough understanding of one’s own self, coupled with a healthy respect for all of humanity.

The first step towards promoting peace is to appreciate the spiritual depth of each religion. Each religion has a unique, and sometimes complementary way of dealing with life’s situations. The variety of outlook and differences in perspective should serve as a means of emphasizing the diversity in nature. Each time and space has had its share of the spiritual knowledge which every prophet or founder of a religion has professed. However, each religion does stand testimony to the existence of the One Absolute Reality.

An interview with H. H. Sri Sri Ravi Shankarji.

Born in 1956 to an eminent family in Southern India, it was soon apparent that Sri Sri Ravi Shankar was to be a rare and unusual figure. At the age of four he could recite the entire Bhagavad Gita and by 17 he had completed his traditional studies, including an advanced degree in modern science.

He is the only non-westerner to serve on the advisory board of Yale University’s School of Divinity. His service organization, the "5H Program" offers social and community development projects with a focus on Health, Hygiene, Homes, Harmony amidst Diversity and Human Values. Many schools have been opened that provide basic education and vocational training to rural communities, as well as free medical camps and homes. Additionally, educational programs are offered to reintroduce the ancient knowledge in light of modern science.

In 1982, Sri Sri Ravi Shankar established the Art of Living foundation, as an educational organization designed to assist all levels of society in reaching their full human potential. His educational programs offer innovative tools for managing stress, resolving conflict, improving health and living life with more joy and enthusiasm. The foundation is a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) in special consultative status with the United Nations.

In 1992 he launched the Prison SMART Foundation (Stress Management and Rehabilitative Training) to address the needs of individuals and professionals impacted by the criminal justice system. Programs are offered to prison inmates, at-risk youth, victims of crime and criminal justice professionals. Today, training programs in the United States and India are receiving national recognition as an effective solution for breaking the cycles of violence in society.

In 1995 Sri Sri Ravi Shankar was a speaker during the 50th Anniversary celebration of the United Nations. Since that time, his organization continues to work with a variety of NGO’s (Non-Governmental Organizations) and UN groups to raise awareness of the need to focus on human values as a fundamental step in realizing universal human rights.

Many television and radio programs have been produced on Sri Sri Ravi Shankar’s principles of effective living and peaceful co-existence.

He launched a world Human Values campaign in 1999 and his Association continues to work with other organizations around the world who are dedicated to similar goals for humanity.

And on this year 2006,after 25 years of his service towards mankind,he has gifted us a historic event of "3 million meditate " for world peace, and his position twoards "one world family".

An interview with His Holiness Sri Sri Ravi Shankar

Q: What was the three-day Silver Jubilee show all about?

Celebration. People were going to come anyway. We simply had to provide the infrastructure and everything else.

Q: How did all this happen? When you started the Art of Living Foundation, did you know it would get so big?

One thing that I felt is that the whole world is my family… that every one is a part of my family. I suppose I have always felt a sense of belongingness to everyone.

Q: What was your mission for Art of Living?

There was no particular mission. There was no ambition to start a particular movement. Everything unfolded naturally. It started with an intention to just share whatever we have. The movement happened as a part of sharing. Whatever we have, we shared with people…. And as more people wanted what we wanted to share, it grew… through word of mouth.

Q: There always seems to be an expansion of projects or activities…

You know, that’s quite natural. When people are full of enthusiasm, love and compassion, they just want to share it and their intention to share it brings compulsion to start projects.

Q: But they all say that the source is you.

(Laughs)

I simply take credit for all the work that the volunteers do, that the devotees do. Devotees do all the work.

Q: What is your vision for people? How do you see them?

When I see people, I see them as my own self… like my own fingers, my own parts. I don’t feel that “they are my people” or “ they are mine”. This is what we tell all our teachers and teach in all the teachings. The ‘sense of belongingness’.

Q: What do you think is the most important quality that every human being must process?

Nurture human values, compassion, love, caring, friendliness. Many people are not friendly with those who they think are different from them. Basic tendency should be friendliness. In spite of differences, an attitude of friendliness with one and all, whatever their isms, philosophies or attitude may be… this makes a big difference… from our side, have a friendly attitude even though the other person is not responding. If you keep up this attitude instead of swaying to the other person’s, then you come up.

Q: People say you never ever write off or give up on any human being. So much compassion. Don’t you ever get tired?

I never do anything that is not in my nature. You don’t ask the wind whether it gets tired of blowing or the sun whether it is tired of shining. This is because they don’t do anything that is not in their nature. And the thing here is that there is not pretension. There is no covering up of a mistake. There is no point in trying to appear as someone you are not. These are the principles that make people very strong.

And when we lead through such examples, through our own lives, it becomes really effective in other’s lives also. People are moved by people, not just by principles. It’s a ripple effect.

Q: How do you perceive the Divine?

Like the space permeates everything, divine also permeates everything. It’s the basic substratum of the universe. The basic difference between the West and East it that in the West, there’s the Divine and the devil. In the west, the devil is an entity. In the East, devil is not an entity. It’s simply lack of light. Sometimes it’s even perceived as dormant light. Light hasn’t yet manifested, not active. Even inside the devil there is divinity, but it is sleeping. When it wakes up the devil simply disappears.

Q: That seems to be the attitude that gives so much faith to your followers.

Yes. When we go prison and to naxalites and others, we don’t consider them as bad people. We simply say they have beautiful hearts that have not come to light. We see goodness in them too, but it’s sleeping.

Q: When I search for spirituality on Google, I get 25 or more definitions. What exactly is spirituality?

Spirit represents love, compassion and service. It is all those things that you can’t hold on to… which (are not) concrete. Spirituality is that which enhances this understanding, brings you peace of mind, makes you happier, more compassionate, awakens a want to serve etc. It makes you realize that your life is much more than what you think it is

Q: You said the need of our times is secular spiritualism. What is secular spiritualism?

India is full of different cultures, and different sects within a religion. Many religions follow different things. So what is the thread that can weave them all without disturbing and creating a conflict with their faith or belief system? That’s what I call secular spirituality. It is a spirituality that unites, promotes harmony in diversity, and that makes people appreciate and honestly pray from their heart.

Q: The dialogue on secularism is conducted largely within the political framework. Are there political parties that are not secular?

It is difficult to say who is really secular. Even those who claim to be secular don’t seem to be secular anywhere anymore.

Q: Corruption is selling India down the drain. Who would you blame?

The blame culture has to be dropped. It is easy to blame somebody and get out of responsibility. We all have to take responsibility. Spirituality gives us the strength to stand up to corruption. It is the inner courage that gives you the strength to stand up to corruption and transform people. Corruption can only happen outside the purview of belonging, you can’t be corrupt with someone (for whom you feel) a sense of belonging. You will cheat those you think don’t belong to you. You will corrupt them. You saw the sense of belonging (among) more than a million people here. There was no stampede, no looting, no cheating, no crying and no traffic jams. People dispersed in such orderly manner. People are beautiful. They are good. They just need a little nourishment and the little flame that a candle requires. The wick is there. And the wax is too. It only needs a light.

Q: Coming back to the Silver Jubilee, I’ve not seen Chinese and Taiwanese dancing together ever before.

Yes. And Pakistanis and Indians.

Q: So is this the beginning of a shift in world consciousness?

Definitely.

Q: So where does it go now that the shift has begun?

We’ll have to realize that the world is one family. We can’t stay in isolation. We have to leave the differences, and dialogue should be the language of the future. Dialogue can happen only between people with differences. It is such ridiculous thing in India that people of different ideologies don’t even want to see each other or sit on the same dais. There can’t be anything more foolish than this. How can a dialogue happen if (only) person of the same ideology get together? They can’t have a dialogue for they will all agree (anyway).

Q: On a lighter note, how did you get into spirituality?

Ha, ha. I’ve been like this from childhood.

Q: Isn’t that curious? Usually you get into spirituality after a crisis.

Yeah, a crisis in life. For example, a failed love affair, a lost business, or the loss of a dear one. That’s when people turn to spirituality. With me, however, that’s not the case. I have been like this from the beginning. It is not a big shift. Nothing has changed. I am a child that refuses to grow up.

Message from H. H. Sri Sri Ravi Shankarji

Message from H. H. Sri Sri Ravi Shankar

“The whole world belongs to you. But man identifies himself with his profession, religion, culture, nationality, language, region or sex and, maybe, as a human being. People today are stuck in religious practices, symbols & customs, and have forgotten the spiritual core – human values of compassion, friendliness, co-operation, peace of mind, joy… and a smile that is not fragile!

In a society plagued with domestic and communal violence, we need to globalize wisdom. Though we have advanced technologically, we have cared very little for the emotional and spiritual needs of people. A sense of belongingness with the whole world – rising above the narrow considerations of colour, culture or background, is the need of the hour. We are not living in isolated compartments – the world has become one family.

As a major initiative towards globalising wisdom and fostering human values, we are hosting a three-day International Conference on Human Values from the 17 th -19 th of February, 2006.

This conference is a wonderful occasion for all leaders of society who are concerned about terrorism and fundamentalism. We need to look back and learn from the mistakes of the past; we need to understand what is lacking in society and how we can nurture the human values without which this earth cannot be sustained.

Knowledge and spiritual awareness should go hand in hand with social and political systems. I think religious leaders, political leaders, business establishments and social workers should get together and spread the message of unity. All religions and traditions have a common value system. These shared values have to reach every corner of the world. Even if one pocket of the world remains ignorant of these values, the world will not be a safe place. I often say religion is the banana skin and spirituality is the banana. The misery in the world is because we throw away the banana and are holding on to the skin.

I hope this conference will reinforce the vision of one world family.

Guruji’s message for new year!!

Guruji’s Message for New Year

The year 2006 is fortunate because you are living at
this time. When you are living for the sake of the world, the world is
fortunate. You are not living for yourself, but for the world.
Whatever the world needs or wants, you are there for that. So the year is fortunate that you are on the earth at this point in time.

Let the time celebrate your presence. You keep smiling
as ever.
Usually people make a wish for the New Year.
This year, make no wish. Let the New Year celebrate
you. If it wants to bring you nicer things, let it.  It’s up to it.
Usually you are lost in celebration. When you let time
celebrate you, you are a witness amidst celebration.

And here comes the Home work …
——————————–
DIVINE IS ALL CELEBRATION

A poor man celebrates the new year once a year. A rich
man celebrates each day. But the richest man celebrates every moment.

How rich are you? Do you celebrate once a year? Once a
month? Every day? If you celebrate every moment, you are the Lord
of Creation.

Review the year while you celebrate. This is your
homework. What did you do? What did you achieve? How useful were you this
past year? Sit for an hour and think about every week, one minute per
week, and see the year’s growth in less than an hour. With a flower, on
New Year’s Day, offer the whole year to the Divine.

jai guru dev,

Guruji’s Words After Navratri

When Chandi Homa finished Guruji met a few of us.  He looked at
all of us with so much love in his eyes for a long time.  In
between drowning us in love, these are the words he said-

"Maan Saman Paisa-money fame recognition take all this and…."
(he mimed a small bundle tied it and put it aside) Then he
smiled and said "Pyar hi pyar mein doobo" (Drown in love…)

He kept looking at us.
"I want all of you, each one of you to be a light of knowledge.
Be strong.
Be steady.
Let nothing shake you.

Yeh choti si zindagi mein kya?(what will you do in this short
lifetime) Leave eveything it will all come chasing you. There is
nothing you will not have.

Kya mango kuch to hai. (What will you ask for?you have
enerything!) Itna mila hain"(You have recived so much)

Then again he smiled with love and said "see today the subtle
came to shake hands with the gross..so  beautiful"

Oh Guruji you always leave us spellbound.

Art Of Living Courses.

The Art of Living Course

"By Nature we are friendly, cooperative, compassionate. If we are
unfriendly, it is because of stress and tension." – Sri Sri
Through out our lives we learn many skills reading, writing,
science, music and art but very few of us have actually learnt the
true Art of Living. We are rarely taught how to handle our negative
emotions – anger, depression, stress. Yet, the quality of our life
depends upon the quality of our mind. The Art of Living courses offer
simple but effective techniques which eliminate toxins and stresses
that accumulate in our systems over time. They are a unique way to
harmonize and energize the Body, Breath, Mind, Emotions &
Spirit.Developed by H.H Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, these courses offer
simple and effective techniques for eliminating stress, resolving
conflict, improving health and living life with new joy and
enthusiasm – A combination of the very best of ancient wisdom and
modern science.

Research Center

In this fast paced age, where stress and depression are widespread,
their toll on physical and mental health can be extremely high.
Stress, anxiety and depression are known to be significant factors
in the onset and progression of a wide spectrum of illnesses
ranging from cancer and HIV-1 infection, to asthma and
cardiovascular disease.Sudarshan Kriya® and its accompanying
practices (SK&P) are time- honored stress management/health
promotion techniques whose health benefits are being validated by
modern medical science. Independent research has shown that
Sudarshan Kriya and its accompanying practices (or S K&P )
significantly:· Reduce levels of stress (reduce Cortisol –
the "stress" hormone) · Reduce cholesterol · Relieve anxiety and
depression (mild, moderate and severe) · Increase anti
oxidant protection · Enhance brain function (increased mental
focus and faster recovery from stressful stimuli) · Enhance
health and well-being SK&P has many features which recommend it for
the promotion of health: it is free of unwanted side defects, cost
and staff effective, holistic, self empowering, and easy to learn
and practice in daily life.A mandate of the Art of Living
International Research and Health Promotion Center is to promote
scholarly investigation of Sudarshan Kriya and accompanying
practices (SK&P). We welcome research collaborations and suggestions
from all parties interested in investigating the effects of SK&P on
physical, mental, spiritual and community health. Please contact us

The Breath Quiz

Are you Breathing Right? According to studies the average person
uses only a fraction of their lung capacity. Since the lungs
determine the amount of oxygen in our systems, not to mention a
large portion of toxin removal from the body – not breathing right
may be costing you a clean bill of health, among other things. Take
a quick look to see, if you are breathing right or if a trip to your
nearnest Pranayma doctor is in order.

TEST 1 – The Chest Breather Get in Position:· Lie on your back ·
Place a hand on your upper chest and another on your abdomen
The Test: Is the hand on your chest moving when you breathe but the
hand on your abdomen is still. If yes, the chances are you are a
Chest-Breather. A sign of inefficient breathing is when there is
more than a slight movement of the chest while you breathe.TEST 2 –
The Shallow BreatherGet in Position: · Lie on your back ·
Place your hands around your lower ribs The Test:Are your
ribs motionless when you breathe? Is there an easy expansion of the
lower ribs when you breathe in and a gentle contraction when you
breathe out?If not, then the chances are you are a Shallow Breather -
even if your belly moves – and you are not using the full capacity
of your lungs to breathe.TEST 3 – Over BreatherContrary to what it
sounds, over breathing is actually counter productive to the
breathing process. A normal breathing cycle has a longer exhalation
than inhalation, reversing this process inhibits the process for
removing toxins through the breath. To check if you are one try this
test: Lie down and relax your body for a few minutes, until your
breathing is completely natural. Then count the length of your next
exhalation and compare it to the length of the following inhalation.
The exhalation should be slightly longer. If not, you are an
overbreather. As a second test, try to shorten your inhalation as
compared to your exhalation and see if it gives you an uncomfortable
feeling. TEST 4 – Holding the BreathHolding one’s breath after
inhaling is probably the most common poor breathing habit. – and is
especially noticeable after excercise. To check if this is yours:Pay
attention to the transition from inhalation to exhalation. A breath-
holder usually feels a "catch" and may actually struggle to initiate
the exhalation. Try relaxing your abdomen as you breathe out, this
will help reduce the "breath holding"Test 5 – Reverse breathing This
happens when the diaphragm is pulled into the chest on breathing in
and drops into the abdomen on breathing out.Lie on your back and
place your hands on your abdomen. The abdomen should slowly flatten
as you exhale and rise gently as you inhale. If the opposite occurs
you are a reverse breather.

Power of the Breath: Sudarshan Kriya
"We need to do a cleansing process within ourselves. In sleep we get
rid of fatigue, but the deeper stresses remain in our body.
Sudarshan Kriya cleanses the system from the inside. The breath has
a great secret to offer."–Sri SriDeveloped by Sri Sri Ravi Shankar,
the Sudarshan Kriya® is the core component of the Art of Living
Course. The Sudarshan Kriya infuses the body with energy and
harmonizes the natural rhythms of the body, mind and emotions. It
uses specific rhythms of breath to re-establish balance in life as
it simultaneously floods the cells of the body with oxygen and
energy.A powerful practice that combines ancient knowledge with the
rhythms of the breath, it has a profound effect on the mind, body
and spirit. In order to understand the enormous health implications
of the Sudarshan Kriya, one must understand the relationship between
the breath, the mind, the emotions, and the body. The Kriya links
the breath to the mind-body system in a specific way, that rids the
system of accumulated stress and toxins, releasing negative emotions
and rejuvenating the body.Over 2 Million people worldwide, have
enjoyed the benefits of the Art of Living Course and the powerful
Sudarshan Kriya technique. In 1998 and 1999, Sudarshan Kriya gained
even greater recognition when medical studies & research confirming
its benefits were published. These findings demonstrate that
Sudarshan Kriya:· Reduces levels of stress (reduces Cortisol,
the "stress hormone") · Relieves depression and anxiety ·
Restores normal sleep patterns · Increases health,
well-being and peace of mind – Kriya increases EEG alpha and
prolactin, the "well-being" hormone Course participants commonly
report: · Greater ease and joy in personal relationships ·
Increased fulfillment in work · Deeper sense of community
and belonging to society · Enriched spiritual life All Courses
are open to people from all walks of life, religions, societies and
cultures.

ART OF LIVING PART I "Existence is a fact, Living is an Art." – H.H.
Sri Sri Ravi ShankarThe degree to which stress unduly influences our

anger, guilt, regrets about the past, or anxiety about the future.
This oscillation of the mind is the determining factor for tension
and stress both for ourselves and for the people around us.To be
able to deal with our mind and negative emotions is an art: the Art
of Living. There is an inbuilt ability within us to calm the mind,
relax the body and energize the entire system within minutes. The
secret lies in the breath. The Art of Living Course Part I explores
this secret. It features a unique and powerful breathing technique,
the Sudarshan Kriya ®, which is traditionally understood to use
specific rhythms of the breath to eliminate stress, support the
various organs and systems within the body, transform overpowering
emotions and restore peace of mind.Combined with other breathing and

different traditions and cultures, as a great tool for enhancing
self-discovery. Maintaining silence, for even a few days, can have

Learn to Meditate: Sahaj Samadhi Meditation

"Meditating is the delicate art of doing nothing – letting go of
everything and being who you are" — Sri Sri

Meditation is a practice that allows one to quiet the mind. There
are many approaches to meditation, but the generally agreed purpose
is to train the mind to observe, and then to let go of attachmentsin
order to simply be "mindful". Whatever the method, after one begins
to quiet the mind, one’s life becomes a meditation. The mindfulness
one acquires through the practice of meditation will be carried out
during all life: when talking, one is talking mindfully, when
studying, studying with concentration, when resting, resting
fully.Sahaj Samadhi, meaning effortless transcendence, is the
meditation technique taught by Art of Living. Sahaj Samadhi is a
natural and graceful system of effortless meditation providing the
mind with a much needed, deep rest. Sahaj Samadhi allows the
conscious mind to settle deeply into itself. When the mind settles
down, it lets go of tension and stress, centering itself in the
present moment. It is only in the present moment we find true
happiness — those moments when we are free from regrets about the
past or anxiety about the future. Without effort our inner nature is
available."When you sit for meditation are your eyes steady? Is your
breath steady? Is it going smooth and steady or is it going
haphazard? When the senses are steady, the soul also becomes
peaceful. Your Being, your spirit inside you, becomes steady." –
SriSri

Achieving Personal Excellence – The APEX Course

APEX – Achieving Personal ExcellenceWe live and operate within a
fast paced and highly competitive environment. Because of increasing
pressures to achieve and produce at a faster rate, stress is
considered a normal part of the typical business routine. Our
professional and personal lives are so interwoven that there is no
separation. Stress-related burnout is common and carries us in a
downward spiral. The better professional is one who learns to manage
this and bring about balance. We can accomplish this without
lowering our pace, our goals and our objectives — it is all about

Art of Living Courses for Special Conditions

"A stress free mind and a disease free body is the birth right of
every human being" –Sri Sri Ravi Shankar To support individuals
facing certain health challenges, specialized art of living courses
have been developed. These are adjuncts to (not substitute for)
medical treatment. They support body, mind and spirit in a holistic
manner. ART OF LIVING DEPRESSION RELIEF COURSE The Art of Living
depression relief course utilizes the Sudarshan Kriya and
accompanying breathing practices to treat people suffering from
depression, regardless of the severity of the depression. These
practices have been shown in independent medical studies to be
highly effective in alleviating depression (see Research findings
below). The added advantages of the techniques include: · Free
from unwanted side effects · Self empowering · Cost
effective as self administered · Can be used indefinitely

TRAUMA RELIEF PROGRAM – BREATH, WATER, SOUND "There is no rich or
poor.. because when they come here everybody becomes rich! Rich in
heart and rich in knowledge. That is real richness." – H.H. Sri Sri
Ravi ShankarBreath Water Sound is a dynamic program designed for the
financially, physically or emotionally challenged groups in society.
Taught in 6 hours over a 4 day period, Breath Water Sound has
affected the lives of over 2 million people all over the world, from
residents in the inner cities of the United States and Latin America
to the tribal regions of India and Africa. It is taught free of
charge as a service of the International Association for Human
Values. The teachers of the workshops are usually graduates of the
Youth Leadership Training Program. In general, they come from the
local area and are committed to uplifting the community together
with the participants. The workshop provides tools that improve
overall health and wellness and increase enthusiasm and mental
focus. These tools include breathing exercises, sound relaxation,
meditation techniques, talks on healthy living, as well as games and
singing, all of which help to alleviate physical, mental and
emotional stress. The pressures of daily life are the main reason why
people do not identify with service. As these stresses are released
from the system, individuals are uplifted and are encouraged to
channel their energy into helping their community. The final two
days of this four-day course are centered around community
empowerment and taking responsibility.Upon completion of the Breath
Water Sound workshop, participants are taught a daily practice that
they can do at home to help reduce stress, improve clarity of mind,
and energize the body. Follow up sessions are provided to encourage
the sense of community and support the service projects initiated
during the course. For more information on this cost and staff

THE ART OF LIVING WITH HIV-1 INFECTION This is a specially tailored
program for those diagnosed with HIV-1 infection, combining the
Sudarshan Kriya with a variety of specific processes. A pilot study
of individuals living with H I V-1 infection documented the
following results (based upon in- depth self report questionnaires).
Participants reported reductions in feelings of fear, depression and
loneliness, and increases in feelings of joy, Self-love and inner
peace. Particpants also reported:· reductions in frequency and
intensity of chronic panic · reduced digestive problems ·
reduced shortness of breath · reductions in swollen lymph
nodes · increased energy levels · improved mental clarity
Note: Several studies have demonstrated that practice of Sudarshan
Kriya significantly reduces levels of cortisol, known as the stress
hormone. This may be particularly valuable to those fighting HIV-1
infection due to cortisol’s effect on cytokine production, and more
directly its promotion of increased replication of HIV-1.For

specialcourses@artofliving.org RESEARCH CENTER Mounting scientific
research continues to suggest that health, quality of life, and even
the very length of life, are all profoundly affected by our mental
and emotional states. In a fast paced age where stress and
depression are widespread, the toll of stress on physical and mental
health can be extremely high. Stress, anxiety and depression are
known to be significant factors in the onset and progression of a
wide spectrum of illnesses ranging from cancer and HIV-1 infection,
to asthma and cardiovascular disease. The lungs are one of the most
important sites of elimination of impurities from the body. Not only
is carbon dioxide, as the most abundant impurity produced in the
body, removed through expiration, but many other waste products
(around 250), albeit in smaller amounts, are also eliminated from
the body through the lungs. Yet, it is known that we typically use
only about 30% of our lung capacity. The Art of Living breathing
exercises are traditionally understood to allow most efficient use
of the lungs and effectively eliminate impurities from the body. The
yogic science of breath is a precise, 5,000+ year-old science of
health promotion. It is one ofthe first sciences to recognize the
impact of mind and emotions on creating and restoring optimal
health.Sudarshan Kriya®and its accompanying practices (SK&P) are
stress management/health promotiontechniques derived from this
science whose health benefits are being validated by modern medical
science.Independent research has shown that SK&P significantly:·
Reduce levels of stress (reduce cortisol – the "stress"
hormone) · Benefit the immune system · Reduce cholesterol ·
Relieve anxiety and depression (mild, moderate and severe) ·
Increase antioxidant protection · Enhance brain
function (increased mental focus, calmness and recovery from
stressful stimuli) · Enhance health, well-being and peace of mind
